Meet your retreat hosts

What is keeping you from experiencing a thriving life?

It can be hard to figure out what things are holding us back from a full life. Symptoms like: hypersensitivity, insomnia, anger, fear, chronic stress or fatigue can seem to come from external places, but are rooted in nervous system dysregulation.

At Gathering Stones Retreats we want to provide a safe, calm and creative space for you to learn valuable tools for living a full life every day. We promise to offer ourselves as available and welcoming hosts.

  • OTD, OTR/L CPRCS, FNIP

Meah has always been interested in health and wellness. Throughout her career she has worked with pediatric to advanced aging clients with a multitude of health needs who inspired her to look deeper into healing. Having struggled with migraines for almost 30 years, she is fervently dedicated to her personal healing journey as well as helping those around her find their healing paths. She has additional training in myofascial release, somatic healing, emotional freedom tapping (EFT) and other clinical modalities. Meah’s passion to understand and holistically treat neurological pathologies lead her to become a Certified Primitive Reflex Clinical Specialist as well as a Functional Nutrition Informed Practitioner and Naturopathy Practitioner. In 2009, Meah obtained her Occupational Therapy Doctorate from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She is currently the owner of Wellspring Functional Therapies in Greenville, South Carolina. She enjoys painting, traveling and spending time with her family.

  • Retreat Role

Julie has hosted group retreats both stateside and internationally. She has had her floral studio, Willow Florals for 13 years and loves the tactile art form flowers provide. Most of her work is in wedding or corporate events. She finds her stride engaging her extroverted side and loves nothing more than getting to know people (she wants all the TMI you are willing to share). She is wife to Eric and mom to Rhett, Tress and Vivienne.

  • OTA, MFR 3, RYT 200

Tonja is a practicing Occupational Therapy Assistant and became fascinated with sensory regulation, primitive reflex integration, yoga, and neurological re education, through working with the pediatric and geriatric population. Tonja has had a heart for assisting others in their journey of healing for over 20 years, and is a practicing Reiki Master and Shamanic Practitioner. Tonja became interested in healing modalities for her own self healing of past traumas, and truly has a heart for assisting others with healing the mind, body, and spirit.
